About

I'm Jacques Gwenin, a Games Designer and Developer specialising in Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprint & C++), with additional experience in Unity (C#) and Godot (GDScript). I recently graduated from Staffordshire University, an Authorised Unreal Training Centre, with a First-Class Degree in Games Design.

My skillset spans technical design, modular combat systems, AI behaviours, 2D/2.5D development (PaperZD), level and environmental design, and Unreal landscaping. I thrive in both creative and technical roles - from rapid prototyping and system design through to motion capture acting, Photoshop work, and delivering polished player experiences.

I'm also a strong team player, with proven leadership and collaboration experience across both group and solo projects. Whether working on AI-driven combat encounters or building immersive game worlds, I approach challenges with a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and a hardworking, hands-on attitude.

Now, I'm excited to take the next step into my first industry role, where I can bring my energy, adaptability, and dedication to delivering high-quality gameplay experiences.
